Product Description

Fourth edition. The book is firmly bound in blue leather with paper spine labels, there is some wear to the edges and slight bumping at the corners and spine ends. The text block is toned with minor foxing and staining, also slight cracking at points. With the book is a splendidly chilling letter typed on a single sheet of paper, from the Reverend Paul W. Alvin of the Manchester Temperance Society, seeking a replacement for “poor Norman”, who was used as a live, drunken prop by the good Reverend on his lecture tours, but who has unfortunately died.
